Driving Directions: Maluhia Road (Tree Tunnel
Maluhia Road (Tree Tunnel), will be closed on Saturday, July 8, from 7a.m. to 5p.m, from Kaumuali‘i Highway to Ala Kino‘iki junction. Traffic will be diverted to Piko, Oma‘o, and Koloa roads during the road closure. Please allow extra travel time, follow the speed limits.
Organized to help beautify the area in preparation for the upcoming Koloa Plantation Days festival in July, the Tree Tunnel Cleanup is supported by the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority through the Community Enrichment Program and the County of Kaua‘i together with other community sponsors and volunteers.
