Enjoy a light breakfast of morning coffee hour & fresh baked goods hosted by the St. Raphael’s Church volunteers before the Hapa Trail walk. Julie Souza will be conducting a tour of St. Raphael’s Church at 8:30am – there’s time to do the tour and then catch the start of Hapa Trail Walk departing at 9:00am. Grab a bottle of complimentary water for the trail.

Whether you continue onto the Hapa Trail walk or not, it is a worthwhile stop just to see this beautiful 175 year old church. You can feel the history as well as the Aloha from the community here.

Moderate hike along beach trail and surrounding bluffs overlooking spectacular Maha’ulepu area. We will walk in smaller groups with individual group leaders for a more personalized experience. Grove Farm will share historical information regarding Kōloa Mill and Allan Smith who served in various leadership positions in the sugar industry and retired as a Senior Vice President for Grove Farm Co. and Jan TenBruggencate who grew up on a pineapple plantation on Molokai and is the author of the books “Lihue Mill: Grinding Cane and Building Community” and “Grove Farm: 150 Years of Stewardship and Innovation,” will be on hand to “talk story” about plantation life.

The tour will encompass a visit to view the exterior of the Kōloa Mill and will include a ride to Waita Reservoir and the Wilcox Tunnel. Reservations required as shuttle seating is limited.

Family Fun Run Offers Healthy Fun for Everyone!

Four different course lengths for you to choose from depending on your ability, endurance, and motivation!  The choice of courses allows you to test your endurance or just stroll along while enjoying some of the most beautiful ocean views on Kauai’s South Shore.

Race jerseys are included with registration. After the races a delicious breakfast will be served compliments of Keoki’s Paradise, iced mocha from Kauai Coffee, fruit and juice from Brennecke’s Beach Broiler. Awards will be given for 1st through 3rd place for each race course as well as for the winners in each age group division. Special awards will be given to all youth under 10 years who participate in the keiki run!

1 Mile Keiki Run Start Time: 8:30am for aspiring athletes 10 years & under; in the park

5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles) Start Time: 7am Perfect for everyone – and all ages! Walkers, joggers, sprinters or strollers – bring the entire family to walk, ride or jog together.

10K Run (6.2 miles) Start Time: 6:45am test your speed and endurance!

10 Mile Walk Start Time: 6am Newly added for those who are committed to the distance but not the high impact!

10 Mile Run Start Time: 6:30am For those who are training for The Kauai Marathon /Half Marathon or any distance running!

There is a family/team discount of $5 per person when registering 3 or more persons at one time for any family or team  – but only up until July 25thso register NOW!

Time: Officials Area opens at 5:30am

Keiki Run registration open day of race.

Start and Finish for all race courses is at Poipu Beach Park. Virtually no elevation change along the course. All courses along the oceanfront at sea level.

Packet Pick‐Up and Late Registration

Packet Pick-up (includes race bib number and race jersey) and Late Registration: Saturday, July 27th from 1-5pm at Poipu Beach Park  – (look for the Family Fun Run Banner at one of the Waiohai side pavilions)

Additional late charge of $5 applies to all registration (except 1-Mile Keiki Run) after 5 pm Friday, July 26, 2024

Day of Race Packet Pick‐Up and Late Registration:

5:30am-6:30am Sunday, July 27

Runners can pick up packets and register for any event up to the starting time.

Family and Team Discount of $5 off the registration fee is still available until midnight on Friday 7/25. (Early Bird registration fee of $50 ends 6/30/25.)

Late Registration: The regular race fee is $55 from July 1st until Friday, July 25th at midnight. There is an additional $5 late fee, but On-line and Walk-up registration is available on both Saturday 7/26 at Packet Pick up from 1-5pm and Day of Race 7/27 from 5:30am-6:30am

Early bird registration is $50.  It ends on June 30th.  Regular registration fee goes to $55 beginning July 1st. 

Late registration is $60 on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th the weekend of the race.

Race Packet Pick-up: including bib number and race jersey is Saturday, July 26th from 1pm-5pm at Poipu Beach Park and day of race July 27th from 5:30am 6:30am

Road Closures: Ho’owilli Rd (main entrance to Poipu Beach Park) will be closed from 9:00am on Sunday July 27th
Alternate route to reach Poipu Beach is Pe’e Rd to Hoone Rd.
