TriKauai Triathlon & 5K Fun Run/Walk

Come join in the fun and participate in Kukuiula Outrigger and Puuwai Canoe Club’s triathlon fundraiser event! The course is spectacular, allowing you to test your endurance while enjoying some of the most beautiful views on Kauai’s South Shore. We have age groups for everyone from young to young at heart. Additionally, you may enter as a single-person entry completing all race legs, or as a team with individual members completing different legs. NOTE: temporary road closures and/or traffic delays from 7am - 10am. Race Fees"Early Bird" Race Fees - Good Through July 16, 2010. Triathlon race fees go up by $10 after this date, so register early.
Prizes, awards, T-shirts, food and drinks along with free mini massages available to all contestants! Race t-shirts not guaranteed for late registration. The proceeds for this event goes to support the keiki outrigger paddling programs for Puuwai and Kukui'ula Canoe clubs as well as Kauai Bikes for Kids! Sprint Distance Triathlon event:• SWIM: 500-750 meters (based upon ocean conditions) • BIKE: 14 miles • RUN: 5K Interactive Race Course Maps 5K Fun Run/Walk - new event added to the TriKauai!Everyone can join in for this event…. Athletes and couch potatoes alike! The 5K will run concurrently to the bike portion of the triathlon, and will follow the same run course as the triathlon. Special awards for all youth 12 and under participating! Time: Officials Area opens at 5:30am Triathlon Start - 7:00am Fun Run Start: 7:30am
