Waiver of Claim Against the Indemnity of Koloa Plantation Days Inc.
For and in participation in the parade sponsored by Koloa Plantation Days, Inc., I, the undersigned, individually, jointly, and in any representative or legal capacity, on behalf of myself, heirs, executors, and/or administrators, do hereby waive, release, discharge and agree to hold harmless and indemnify Koloa Plantation Days, Inc, its officers, employees and agents individually and in their official capacity, from liability or loss of any claim for death, injury or damage to property resulting directly or indirectly from the undersigned's participation in the Koloa Plantation Days parade on July 24, 2010. I further avow that my aforesaid waiver, release, discharge and agreement shall be applicable to any participant or guest affiliated with our party.

Schedule

The parade commences at 10:00 AM on Saturday morning. The parade route begins at Koloa School along Poipu Road, north to Koloa Road, east to Maluhia Road and north to the finish at Koloa Park.

Parade participants are requested to be in their designated lineup locations before 9:00 AM. Each unit type will have a specific staging area and a walking or mobile marshal assigned to them.

There will be a pre-parade meeting on Tuesday, July 20th at Koloa Library at 6:00pm at which time verification of all forms, line-up information, instructions and introduction of parade marshals will take place.



Judging

Walking, mounted and mobile entries will be judged on the following criteria:
• Representation, presentation and characterization of the Parade’s Theme25 pts
• Originality/ Horsemanship25 pts
• Visual Appeal25 pts
• Promptness25 pts
