Sunset Ho'olaulea Hosted by Sheraton Kauai Resort

Kauai’s biggest block party returns as Sheraton Kauai Resort hosts the 12th Annual Sunset Ho`olaule`a!

The Ho’olaule’a is a modern celebration reminiscient of the plantation style get togethers on which the event was named when the whole community got together with food, music, families and fun. This year features continuous entertainment, a large selection of ono food booths, and activities for the keiki.

Great live entertainment is a signature of the Ho’olaule’a, this year opens with a cultural performance and features a selection of local artists including Solidarity, the Blond Boys, and Shilo Pa & Friends. Come join us in welcoming these incredible bands, they are sure to put on a remarkable show.

One of the highlights of the Hoolaulea is sampling foods from a variety of fantastic restaurants. Sheraton Kauai Resort will offer delectable cuisine from the hotel’s fantastic dining venues, Shells Restaurant and Naniwa. Additional food booths will include a variety of gourmet specialties and local favorites from Merriman’s Kauai Pasta, Scotty’s BBQ, Sushi Bushido, Kalapaki Joe’s, Josselin’s Tapas Bar & Grill, and Plantation Gardens. Please note: Outside food & beverage are not permitted.

Also during the Hoolauela, the much anticipated finalists of the Kauai Culinary Challenge will be announced. The final Kauai Culinary Challenge and its first champion will be selected by guests during Koloa Plantation Days on Wednesday evening, July 21st 6pm – 9pm at Shells.

For the kids' enjoyment, don’t forget The Keiki Corner where children can enjoy face painting, inflatable bounce house, and a variety of activities.

Following the Sunset Ho`olaule`a at 9:00pm, DJ Mike Lopez will spice up the night at The Point. Dancing and cocktails will liven up the night until 1:00 am at The Point, the cocktail & entertainment lounge at Sheraton Kauai Resort.
